Thomas Dale Kerby founded Thomas Dale Kerby/Architect in 1980 shortly after licensure. Several years later he changed the name to ADAXIS Architects following a new direction. This firm merged with CCDR, a Kansas City, Missouri-based Architectural firm with local representation. In 1993 he reformed ADAXIS. ADAXIS Architects reasserted itself primarily dealing in the commercial arena. In 2000, the firm began designing residential projects in addition to its commercial base. Mr. Kerby developed and patented a method and apparatus for indexing and labeling computer disks. While at CCDR, Mr. Kerby was Brigham Young University's Museum of Art project Architect. He has experience with project ranging from 100 square feet (Mona telephone company prototype structure) to 100,000 square feet (MOA).
