CS Custom Structures, Inc. is Central Virginia's leading architectural design and build firm. We are a family of architects, craftsman and a general contractor working in unity to create timeless structures to last a lifetime. Our team is what sets us apart and allows us the diversity to create exceptional, one of a kind, custom structures.

At CS Custom Structures, Inc. our expert staff consists of four divisions; Architectural Design, Residential Construction, Commercial Construction and Next Generation Homes, which are our green construction homes.

Architectural Design Division: With over 70 years experience between our architects, CS Custom Structures, Inc. has the capability to meet all of our client's needs and expectations whether it is designing a custom home or designing a commercial building in Central Virginia. We also are fully trained to design energy efficient, sustainable homes and commercial buildings. We specialize in new construction, renovations and additions, and also tenant upfits.

Residential Construction Division: Since 2003 we have been building and designing custom homes in Lynchburg, Appomattox, Amherst, Bedford, Forest, Concord, Rustburg, Altavista, Leesville Lake and Smith Mountain Lake. We specialize in new construction, renovations and additions as well as historical rehabilitation and restoration. We believe in using old school methods of construction with today's latest technologies and local materials.

Commercial Construction Division: We believe having a residential construction background sets us apart from the other commercial construction competitors. We strive for excellence in every project we do with a trained eye for detail. Our staff of project managers, superintendants and craftsman are trained to manage our commercial construction projects to ensure timely completion schedules and budgets are maintained.

Next Generation Homes Division: This division represents a fresh outlook by being great stewards of the community. Each Next Generation Home is designed by one of our staff of architects and is ready to be built by CS Custom Structures. These homes are designed to incorporate the best in energy efficiency, sustainable practices, better performance and excellent indoor air quality. Each home we build follows Earthcraft or LEED for Homes programs and has a two year utility cost guarantee or we will pay the difference for two years. We also use the U.S. Department of Energy’s performance scale guide to ensure maximum efficiency.
