Deadtree Design is architectural design with a conscience.  It is an outgrowth of over 30 years of design, building and research dedicated to respectfully integrating people with their surroundings.  DTD specializes in Custom Home Design that is spirited, responsible and responsive to its occupants, while being faithful to the architectural language and flavor of the region.

Amenities

Deadtree's goals are simple: make quality architecture available and affordable to a wider range of people.  DTD accomplishes this by keeping overhead very low and fees in line with the trades.  Overhead is lowered by 1) having no employees, 2) advertising only by word of mouth and by 3) utilizing the efficacy of long experience and the very best design software.  Other than maintaining this website, nothing is spent on marketing or self-promotion.  No showy offices, no design competitions, no inflated egos, no pretense.  DTD strives to achieve the highest quality by the most economical of means.
