- Jeff Turnipseed, Barrett Donovan and Matt Rasmussen founded Tectonics Design Group in 2006, creating design firm that provides thorough, insightful construction solutions tailored to each individual client. With nearly 36 years of combined work experience we have served a wide range of clients including contractors, developers, architects, building owners and government agencies. We provide structural design services for a wide variety of projects including multi-story office, public work, industrial, commercial and retail buildings, utilizing a variety of building materials including steel, concrete, masonry and wood. Our LEED Certified Civil/Land Development personnel are experienced in the areas of planning, commercial, industrial and retail site design, zoning review and permitting processes, regulatory restrictions and other significant issues that impact development projects. Our multidiscipline capabilities are offered individually however when used together a more seamless, integrated design and construction process often results. As illustrated by our Portfolio we are an industry leader in tilt-up concrete construction with our specialty being distribution centers and other industrial facilities. In the short time since Tectonics was founded we have designed 35 separate tilt-up buildings totaling more than 4 million square feet. We often shepherd these projects from land planning to occupancy and act as a one-stop shop for land development and building design.
