- SellarsLathrop Architects llc was founded by Ann Sellars Lathrop, in 1999. Both Ann and Howard Lathrop are managing principals, providing value and experience through 65+ years of combined architectural experience and over 25 years of residential experience. SLA work can be seen in numerous print publications, on our constantly updated houzz profile, facebook, instagram and linkedin profiles and numerous other online sources. The principles of SLA have had extensive experience with residential, commercial, corporate, adaptive re-use and institutional projects while working for renowned architects in Los Angeles, New York, New Haven and Chicago. With these projects has come the in-depth experience to resolve complex challenges through a wide range of architectural solutions. The desire to work on a smaller scale, to create unique, timeless and sustainable places to live and work prompted the 1999 opening of Sellars Lathrop Architects llc in Westport, Connecticut.
