CPA Firms

The firm began October 1, 1977, when Randy Watson and Derald Lyons joined Dale Yanari, a sole practitioner who had been in practice in Frisco, Colorado since 1974. Randy Watson and Derald Lyons opened the Denver office in Larimer Square. The practice developed very quickly and a firm philosophy gradually took shape. Although the firm was engaged to a large extent in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns, the concept of tax planning and total client service became our prime emphasis.

The firm moved to its Happy Canyon Road location in improved and expanded facilities on August 1, 1978 to demonstrate its belief and commitment to accommodate a rapid and quality growth. On September 30, 1982 the firm's continued growth resulted in our move to even more improved and expanded facilities at 7955 East Arapahoe Court, and from there to our current address of 9250 East Costilla Avenue, Suite 450, Englewood, Colorado. Lance McGaughey joined the firm in 1984 and became a shareholder in 1989. Derald Lyons left the firm in 2001 to focus his services on litigation support.
